“Fantasy birth memory is a video that intends to approach child-birth to sexuality. It simulates the sensations of labor contractions, and time between contractions, I experienced when giving birth.

Photographs taken casually in my two labors are mixed in this artwork, sometimes they present a very close traveling of the pregnant body, these calm images are interrupted with very fast and detailed photographs. The sound in the video was made mixing heart beats and a very strong and fast punk rock. The video ends with darkness, a sound of woman’s pleasure and a baby crying can be heard. The different feelings I had on labor in two distinguished times are together, the first one is the strong, animal and deep felling of infinity silent, the second was made of pleasure and body empowerment.” - Borges
