Bella Milroy is interested in story and narrative, using objects alongside sculpture creating spatial installations. Photography is key to her work, using it both as a form of image and sculpture.
This completely spontaneous image captures a unique picture of intimacy. The original - the moment only experienced by those present. The reproduction 29 years later - my own encounter of the event. Even in this most painfully tensioned state, death on the cusp of life can reveal greater meaning of life itself, transcending any personal story.
