Parental Body: Call of interest
The Mothersuckers Project are curating 'Parental Body', a group exhibition
planned for 2014, which will explore how the experience of being or
becoming a parent can actively shape an artists' practice. ‘Parental Body’
aims to broaden general preconceptions of parenthood by celebrating individual
& sometimes challenging perspectives, & will place work which may too often
be considered marginal within a serious cultural framework, offering
critical recognition and an opportunity to be part of an international
artists network.
