Alison Burrows is currently the Marketing intern for the Birthrites Collection. Having graduated from the MA in Contemporary Fine Art at the University of Salford in 2010, and also with a BA in Modern Languages from the University of Manchester, she is well placed to take on this exciting opportunity.
Alison has also studied telematics and internet research, together with a marketing module on the MA in Heritage Studies.
She has participated in several exhibitions during her studies and curated an exhibition of children's book cover illustrations in 2010, commissioned by the Goethe-Institut, to mark an important anniversary and birthday of a leading German children's author, Kirsten Boie.
Alison is also building her website, which will include images of paintings by all her family, including her late husband and former lecturer at the Unversity of Salford, Colin R. Burrows.
